Marco, Brazil - Do you actually like football or is it just a job?
I love football, but I can not no longer watch a game like a fan does. The last game I went to watch, found myself wanting to taking pictures! I often get accused of not concentrating when taking to people, being in a trance or staring a girls or something like that – but I am normally just looking at shapes and framing the world around me.

Freddie, Singapore - I have enjoyed reading your blog. It tells me things that I do not read in the newspapers or see on TV. Do you get nervous before big matches?
A good question Freddie! The answer is NO! The bigger the game, the more relaxed I am. When I read about pop singers saying that they do not like singing in front of 4 people but it is OK for them to sing in front of 40,000 I understand! I used to help run a local girls football team that one of my best friends played in. Her grandmother wanted some pictures of her in action so I took my camera along. When a big newspaper wants a certain player for live publication I do not even think about what I am doing. However when in the back of my mind I knew that I had to provide pictures for my best friend’s grandmother, I was so anxious and nervous and hoping that I would do a good job.

Andy, Grimsby - Do you prefer film or digital ?
For the actual quality of the image then I prefer digital. For my job of taking pictures, and then making the pictures and the satisfaction that I got from it, then film. Processing and printing pictures is a skill that I spent many years mastering. I am not saying that ‘anyone’ can take a picture, but it is certainly true that not ‘anyone’ could print and process films.

Hi Matt, why is it you are such a knobhead, grow up you self righteous egotistic arsehole and do the right thing and piss off.
